And we do as often as possible, he lives nine hours away in an apartment, still drives and trades stock daily. Grateful he is with us.

Thanks

Bud

I need an adult!
None of my outlets are working. Checked the breaker and none were tripped. When I went to cycle the gfi breakers they will not stay on now. Some users recommended this thread for the inverter fuse. Can’t seem to find the fuse?
Tried resetting the breaker with the red arrows pointing to it on the back of the inverter. Switch won’t budge... maybe I gotta be smarter than the switch?

Uncle bob, is the magic fuse or transfer switch in this picture? Or is this a different inverter from the 17 Classic. I'm not close to the trailer, or I'd look myself.

Hi

The transfer switch is built into the inverter in the picture (probably). That's why you have a fuse that protects it in the inverter. I'd check the back panel of the inverter for the fuse holder. It's not there on the front, might be hidden behind some wires on the back. They may have eliminated it and / or gone to a totally different inverter. On mine, there is a very obvious fuse holder cap on the front panel of the inverter. It's not there on the inverter in the picture.

Moving on, if the GFI's are all shot and nothing turns on ... I have bad news (or at least maybe bad news). That sounds a *lot* like you took a hit to your power system. Has there been lightning in the area? Even without that, Bob (the electrician one, not that guy who's always in the bar) can do some things that could nuke you ....

No lightning in California. Connected to shore power to reset the gfi breakers. Some of the plugs work but not all. Will take in for service when we are in a position to do so and my honey do list grows beyond what it currently is or out of my scope.

Hi

Is your shore power outlet ok? Half the trailer connects to one pin on the plug and half connects to the other hot pin on the plug. A wiring error / problem in the shore power outlet can take out half of the power int the trailer (on a trailer with 50A service).

Uncle Bob, I've got a couple of fuses for sale, cheap 😁. My inverter looks like the one above, 12amp breaker on the rear for "passthrough" , but no fuse holder. More fun than ever. Click image for larger version

Hi

Fuse holder should be on the *front* panel rather on the rear. That said, AS seems to be big on random changes to this and that.....
