Classic Firmware Update July 9, 2019

I got this email yesterday that there is a upgrade to the firmware. Does anyone know of any way to tell if you got the upgrade and if it was upgraded successfully?
===========================
Classic Firmware Update

There is a firmware update scheduled to be sent to your Airstream Classic at 10:00 AM EST on July 9, 2019. This update includes security, stability, and general performance improvements.
Do I need to do anything for the firmware update?
If your router is currently on and connected, it will automatically update. Routers that are currently offline will update the next time they have an internet connection.

An updated version of the Airstream Smart Control app has been made available through Google Play and the Apple App Store that includes support for this update. If you experience issues, please ensure you have the latest version of the app downloaded to your device.

This looks like it is for 2019 or newer Czone? I’m 2018 firefly, I believe firefly updates are all new control panels vs just a download on czone

Hi

It's all done "auto magically" via the cellular connection in the case of this firmware and a 2019 trailer. Other than having things powered up .... nothing to do.

I understand it just magically happens but how do you know if the magic happened. Seems like there should be a way to check version numbers installed and what version number is the latest version.

Funny, my trailer is currently located in Jackson Center getting warranty work done. I have been able to access it for the last two days. Just now, it went silent. It may be getting its update through the internet right now. No one is at the factory working on it, so it must be getting the update online as it normally would.

Sadly, it may not come back up until someone restarts the router. I was hoping to watch it while it was getting worked on. It now has a red "X" on the trailer saying the trailer is offline. Earlier it looked like they had it on a trickle charger as the battery voltage did not drop to 12.7 at night. Solar keeps it going during the day.

I'll let everyone know if it comes back online later on. Oh, and by the way, I did not receive an Email.

Since you are at JC can you ask what the lastest firmware number is and how to check and see what version the Czone is running? It would be nice to know if you are upto date and what the newest release fixed.

I did get notified that there was a update to the APP for IOS but I don't see any thing different from the previous APP.

Actually, we dropped our trailer off for an extensive warranty workover. We live 3 hours away.

The latest router software was 8.0, but it had a problem. We may be at 8.1

I do not believe you can see the version number as you do not have access to the router. It is locked. Airstream uses a fleet software called Connect 2. When they want to do an update, it updates the fleet, by accessing your router and automatically sending the update file. It also has the ability to reverse the process if something goes wrong.

I would wait a week and then call customer service and have them log into your router to check the version or they may keep a table of those who have gotten the update successfully. Do not call service as they are not involved.

My router is back! I am guessing it got the update. The update takes about 10 minutes to do. We've done it several times when we were testing new versions.

The funny thing is, the GPS is reporting my old location in Canfield. I'm guessing it is not getting enough information from 1 tower in Jackson Center to update correctly.

I added the Victron dongle to the MTTP controller and the battery sense dongle to the batteries. The Czone reports the battery voltage a full two tenths lower than the MTTP controller. So if the Czone says 12.4 it actually is 12.6. This is after things settle down and there is little power draw. I'm not sure why the difference, but I'm trusting the Victron equipment. The Czone is approximate.

Jason just sent me this link to the update information. I have not gone through it yet. I did see corrections to the client list were resolved. That's good. It had caused long ping times and dropouts.

I'm anxious to test, but alas, my AirDreamer is at Jackson center for warranty work.

I still don't see any way to check if the Pep Wave has been upgraded to the newest version or not. I really dislike not have the password to the Pep Wave and plan to build a firewall between the Pep Wave and my personnel devices on the network.
