In the mean time, I am watching my satellite TV. (Directv with portable satellite dish)

My projector quit altogether yesterday. Wonder if they will replace it with the same thing when I take it in for repairs at the end of the month. In addition to the projector, I have problems with a leak in the Alde system, a drawer that won’t stay on the rails, the outdoor door light which died, and a few other minor things. This is my second Airstream and the wife is now regretful that we upgraded.

Could Possibly be a loose power connection at the back of the projector (couple of screws - under the polk audio unit that holds the projector) or possibly bad bulb.

I'm a 33 classic owner since Nov '17, nightmare story for another post. Do you know how to get your DirecTV sound to your Bose sound bar? I have DISH but should be the same process. OTA works fine through the Bose, no go on DISH. I can only hear through the tiny projector speaker. Thanks in advance!

To get Apple TV to the Bose system I had to buy a converter for the optical cable and use the sound cable attached to the DVD.

What brand and model was the smart TV tuner? Not sure I can wait for AS to act.

If you have a Dish Wally receiver then this bluetooth adapter worked for me. I was able to setup audio to the work with the Bose sound bar under the receiver settings.

Well, summer is starting to wind down. Has anyone heard how the plan to fix the 2018’s is going?

JC just replaced mine with the new LG projector. Works great. All under warranty so best get to JC and get replaced. I do not think any dealer can handle. Yes the old projector has been recalled.

I made my dealer aware of the issue mid-September and they called Jackson Center and were able to get the new projector shipped to them right away. They were able to install it for me right before I left for a month long working/hunting trip to the Dakotas.

First, I should say that I only camped in State Parks or Recreation Areas that don’t have cable hookups, so I couldn’t test that portion of the system. However, I was elated to find out that the new projector is much more compact and has an additional HDMI port on the side that is easily accessible.

While traveling, I typically use my iPad for movies and TV shows, which I download before leaving for the trip. Using an adapter, I plug the HDMI cable into my iPad and project movies, shows, etc. onto the big screen and it works great!

I still need time to get everything set up through the Logitech Harmony universal remote, but I was too lazy to try to figure it out on my trip.

Does your Harmony Universal Remote control the LG projector or do you need to use the projector remote to turn on/off the projector?

Hi

The Harmony Universal can be set up to run just about anything out there.

Bob, I concur. The Logitech online support site states that all Harmony remotes are compatible with the LG PF1500 projector. My local AS dealer has been unsucessful programming my remote to turn on/off my new LG PF1500 projector. The remote is functioning correctly with all other components.

Hi

At some point you have to get involved with stuff like the Harmony. Expecting most dealers to work something like that out ..... not going to happen.

Our local AS service center has successfully setup the new LG Projector with our existing Harmony remote. Per our local AS service center, the AS supplied LG Projector installation instructions included erroneous information. I will provide specifics after I pickup my AS. Also, the folks at Logitech are very helpful.

Looks like the replacement model is now discontinued.
