Not sure exactly, but ours ran on propane along with the refridge for about 36 hours and is down to 10% on one tank, the tanks are 40# not 30# as in other large AS.
I say the usage is less, but again I don't measure usage and we hook up almost all the time at night so the electric takes priority same as in the auto mode of the fridge.

Seems like quite a bit of propane in 36 hours. Do others experience the same usage?
Thanks

My thinking is that the Alde system uses less propane to heat the coach compared to the standard furnace. First of all, the Alde has the ability to generate heat from electricity when shore power is available. Secondly, and this is subjective on my part, is that the exhaust temp is lower on the Alde compared to the Suburban furnace I had previously. My belief is that the Alde is more efficient.

We sat for almost two months in north Texas from mid Nov to Jan '17, with many days down to the teens at night, hooked up to 30 amps. On average with both electric and gas for heat, we dropped about 15% each day. That's 15% of an 80% full 40 pound tank. The indicator on the tank reads 100% when properly filled to the 80% mark. I frequently have to override enthusiastic LPG dealers who want to vent the bottle and wait until it sprays through the vent. Great heating system when the loop is burped and full.

Oops, should have checked my logs. The LPG was dropping an average of about 5% each day. Three times watching the on service bottle empty, it indicated on 0% for 4 days before the regulator shifted to the other bottle. Some days while cooking and overnight teen temps, usage was higher.
Ron, your comment about cooler exhaust; is that perhaps because the incoming air contra-flows in an inner pipe with the exhaust?
The faintest ink is still better than the best memory and if it isn't logged, it didn't happen. ;-)
