look for a stuck button or the like when the control panel is back on?
Look for a pinched cable or a wire that is trapped under the panel?
Gently press on the circuit boars with the eraser end of a pencil to flex it and see if something changes.
Make sure all the connectors and mounting screws are properly fastened.
