2019 33' Classic Winterize Instructions Incorrect

While winterizing our Classic I realized that the instructions in our manual for winterizing the trailer were incorrect. Specifically, the diagram and instructions for the Alde system are for the 30' Classic and not the 33'. One would think that they would be the same, but they are not.

Our manual is dated July 2019 REV #01. I looked at the 2020 manual and see the same mistake there.

I called Airstream and Dave Prosser was very helpful in running down the correct information (Thank You). I've attached the diagram and instructions as a pdf (hopefully as I'm new to forums).

Worst case, if you follow the instructions in the manual you will dump a lot of antifreeze on the ground and probably fill up the water heater with antifreeze. Flush good in the spring if you make this mistake.

Bryon good reminder. This has been posted before but new folks might not have seen it. Too bad AS can't send an email to registered owners when they have addendum's to the manual.

Thank you Bryon. Last fall prior to winterizing I sent Spencer at Alde images of my plumbing set up (same as shown in your diagram) and he gave me the same instructions Dave gave you. I agree it would be helpful if, at the very least, Airstream put the sheet you shared in the owner's manual provided to new Classic 33 owners.

Thaks For The Replies

I'm not surprised that this has been posted previously. New to forums and still struggling with searching for stuff.

Appreciate the feedback.
