2018 Classic 33 Which AC is Which?
The 2018 33 classic has a 13,500btu AC and 15000 btu AC. I have looked at the exterior of the units from the ground and read the documentation and can’t discern which is which. Which one is the front and which is the rear? I am going to be boondocking in Texas with a Champion 3500 gen and want to make sure I am running the 15,000btu for max cooling. Thanks

Guess, rear is the smaller of the two, our 30’ is set up that way.

Hi
Big one in front. As mentioned many times in various threads.... if you can actually measure a difference in cooling between a 13,500 and a 15,000 you are in a very select group.
====
Pick up a couple of small 120V fans. More than anything else, they improve the "effective" cooling in a power challenged situation. Moving air cools you down much better ....

*** what Uncle Bob Says *** fans make all the difference. Zone 1 = 15K front and Zone 2 = 13.5K bedroom.

If you remove the ceiling filter covers and look inside, you can see the spec sticker on each AC unit that confirms BTUs. Joe

I bought filter medium at Walmart for 96 cents and cut to fit my 4 filters. It’s twice the thickness of the original

But on Classic 33, bedroom is in Front. I’m guessing 13,500 is rear bathroom. Am I correct?

Anyone had problems with the projector TV only working in analog channels? I have a 2018 33' Classic and can only get analog stations.

I removed the filters and read the inside labels on my 2018 33 Classic. The 13500 unit is upfront. They may be a good engineering decision because the rear unit has to deal with the significant heat coming off of the 33 models projector TV.

Perhaps they're measuring wrong? I'd expect the output temperature delta to be just about the same. Doesn't mean one doesn't have more output than the other. The larger BTU unit is perhaps exchanging a larger volume of air, rather than creating a larger temp delta.

My experience...the lower the fan speed, the lower the out put temp, hi speed only until comfortable.
I never use the auto feature on the thermostat.
Disclaimer...we not in NOLA. 😉

Hi
The risk (but not certainty) with low fan speed on the AC is that things will ice up inside the AC unit. Just how likely that is depends a lot on how humid it is and how hot it is. Amount of crud in the filters can also be a factor ( .... we *never* have crud in the filters do we? ).
