2018 Classic 33 Firefly latest firmware version
Does anyone know what the most recent firmware version of Firefly is for the 2018 Classic 33? I’m running 2.4 and the panel keeps resetting itself every few hours. Curious if there was a more up to date version.
Had the same problem on my 30 before they updated the firmware. I would imaging its different firmware between the 30 and the 33 since the 33 has more things to control.

We have version 3.4 and I do not think that is the latest. It was installed in Dec of ‘17 when we discovered that shower boost could not be started on the bathroom panel.

We are at Jackson Center, they are updating our firefly to 3.8 I believe. Will have it tomorrow. Similar issues with our old control panel and the bathroom booster, they said this should fix a majority of our Alde issues and everything else can be fine tuned

I have a 2018 Classic 33fb. My Firefly panel also randomly resets every few minutes or hours. That is frustrating when you have folks sleeping in the lounge and the screen resets from off to bright. Can an owner update the firmware or do I have to visit a dealer...... again? These warranty issues seem to never end.

Verified my GUI and Logic Controller is Version 4.6, I believe this update was accomplished by my local AS dealer early summer 2018. Again, best to contact Firefly for current revision available. Last summer I installed an AIRCON module upgrade with the assistance of Firefly technical group.

I was wondering if they might be offering a CZONE upgrade since Firefly was short lived?

When I asked, they dodged the question. I think it’s a rewire of the trailer to switch to czone. They ordered me a new firefly panel that’s been completely upgraded. I did tell them that if this doesn’t solve my Alde system issues, that I’d like my Alde panel relocated and system split from the firefly. We were one of the lucky ones to get the model that has it all integrated into firefly... looks cleaner but has issues.

I have a 2018 Classic 33, upgraded to 3020 last year. Alde and Firefly no longer interfaced, Alde panel relocated to the right of Firefly main panel. No conflicts, system is quiet.

We have the same configuration, Firefly over TV and Alde 3010 under kitchen sink. Everything is working as it should now after many issues and hours and hours of troubleshooting and self educating myself on how this system works. Not to mention multiple phone calls to Airstream/Firefly/Alde. Only issue that I need to pay attention to is the Alde circulating pump will run continuous if temp gets below 40 something degrees with everything off on Firefly. Just need to remember to turn off batteries or the Alde 3010 panel itself. Good Luck BSWG!

I have not seen any issues except with learning how to operate the system. My Alde 3020 went wonky and threw a low battery message but that went away on its own.
The CZone control system and Alde 3020 do not talk to each other in my 2019 Classic.

We also recently purchased a 2018 33FB and our Firefly panel does not communicate with the Alde system. One other issue that could be user error is when using the Alde 3010 remote panel the system shuts off after 12 hours. I have set the clock, ensure the timer function is off... running out of ideas and our dealer Adventures Northwest do not seem willing or able to deal with issues.

You have the Alde control panel below the sink or next to the fire fly?

If Airstream Adventures NW is unable to resolve your Alde issues, recommend contacting Spencer at Alde US which is located in Vancouver,.WA. I own a 2018 Classic 33, ASANW worked patiently with me to resolve the issues I have had with my Alde system since 2017. Verify that all wires between your Alde panel and Firefly main panel are properly connected. I had an orange data cable that disconnected several times and caused a problem similar to the issue you describe.
