Zip Dee Relax Power Awning

We just put a deposit down in a used 2017 International Serenity 25FB Twins and it has the power awning. Didn't really want up git a great deal on it. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the what looks like a wire is on the awning in the picture.

I can't tell for sure if its the same wire, but in the attached video, at around the 2:00 mark, they pull a wire out of the same area for a manual over-ride of the awning. I think its "likely" the same wire, but I don't have an electric awning to compare it to

The wire you are looking at is the power lead for the roller tube motor, if the awning fails in the extended position, disconnect here and use a jumper (provided by Zip-Dee) to retract the awning. These are great awnings that have a bad reputation. They will collect a lot of water if left out when raining and then will destroy the fabric, if using the "tilt" to drop the front or the rear, do NOT try to "close" from this position, always raise the tilt before closing. That's it, if you have trouble just call Zip-Dee, they are a small company, but really nice people who will help you with everything!
