Storage in 28' serenity

Has anyone ever converted the tall wardrobe in a 28' Serenity into a pull out pantry. I've been looking and don't seem to find dimensions on the pull out pantries in other models.
I am sure that some of my frustration is that we have been towing a 1965 Trade Wind 24' for the last 10 years. It seems to have had way more storage and was laid out with 20 drawers with fiberglass tubs on them and 13 upper cabinets which makes storage and organization a step backwards in the 2016. I am sure there was plenty of over packing in the past, but am having trouble fathoming where the pots and pans and food are going to go. I'm sure its a bit like buying a new house and not knowing where to put things.
Have seen a lot of good ideas for dividing up the large open storage spaces here on the forums, but sure do miss all of the drawers and tubs. Was wondering if the typical pull out pantry would be the same size as the small wardrobe closet close to the kitchen. Would be an easy switch out? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Dan

I converted my tall wardrobe to a pantry by installing shelves with pull out organizers on them similar to these. I'll see if I can find the pictures I took of the project.

Found it. I can't figure out how to rotate it.

We have found a place for pretty much everything in our Serenity 28 RBQ. It took a while, and a few changes along the way. We use the wardrobe for hanging clothes. Dishes/glasses above the sink. Dry food above the couch and pots/pans in one dinette tub, cat food in the other. Bulk storage under the couch and bed.

There is a recent thread on this. I converted mine with nice slide out wire shelves. I purchased them on Amazon. I left the top shelf as is.

Hi HC Dan ; using the wardrobe is OK for summer camping when the amount of clothing is limited, but for us cool/cold weather, requires a doubling in the warm jacket, sweater & boots category, so the closet inside became jammed. When we were using the Serenity in winter the TV became our closet; not the best but manageable. Since buying the MH this has improved slightly but not much. It's our RV of choice for the winter. BTW 'the trailer ' had water running off the walls no matter what we did, so putting clothes in contact with the outside metal walls in a closet was not good.
The MH is a marked improvement as far as condensation goes but not space.
Anyway welcome to the wonderful world of Airstream interior design, shiny on the outside not so much inside.

2015 SERENITY.We store pots pans under sink. Dishes above sink & stove. Food under dinette seats, TOP shelf in coat closet for big things like cereal, potato chips. Other food used less often in tubs under bench seat. We traded down from a 34ft 2 slides jayco eagle. We decided we did not need a lot of things. We did just fine on an 8 week trip. Happy camping.

We need that closet for towels, coats, etc. And as stated above we do basically the same and have plenty of room.

Thank you everyone. Nancy found some 13 liter tubs made in the Netherlands that fit under the dinette seats perfectly. I’ll make a plastic slide with a backstop so I can pull them all out easily. I’m feeling a lot better about it.
Thanks again
Dan

Two great finds today at Lowe’s. Plastic tubs used for mixing concrete 20” x 28” that fit under the sofa great! Nice rounded corners everywhere. Who says you can’t get anything for six bucks. The other find was a 2’x4’ straight plastic folding table that fits in the space under the tubs with a couple of inches to spare on all sides. It even makes it easier to slide them out. Was able to fit a pop up canopy behind them for even better space utilization.
The tubs also work really well in the rear storage trunk. To reach in and slide something out without standing on my head. Click image for larger version
