23FB 2019 Intl Signature dinette

On our new to us 23FB dinette, when you put the dinette down to make it into lounge space or bed the table does not go flush with the seats. Rather it sits on top of the benches on both sides leaving a table depth rectangle in the middle of the space. This makes it uncomfortable to sit never mind sleep on. Is this the way it should be or are we doing something wrong?

No, ours does that too. We bought a foam topper to apply to it to even it out when it needs to be used. Not the greatest design.

Did you cut out a table sized hole into the topper?
