2018 Internationals

Has anyone heard what changes were announced for the 2018 Internationals at the AS dealers meeting last week?

I've been warning to know what the changes will be for the flying cloud line - the bunkhouse in particular - when do they usually announce the changes?

Per my dealer, for 2018, the changes are mostly electrical.
Multi-stage charging.
New battery disconnect with continual charging
Combined inverter outlets
Lengthened mattress to 80" on twins

Hope someone can elaborate what the heck they mean for those of us less technologically and engineering inclined

I think this means that there are no longer two plugs near the TVs and stereo (one for shore power and another for inverter power).

Here are pictures of a 2017 and 2018 Signature. The 2017 has 2 outlets and the 2018 only one (combined) outlet.

We were at Vogt in north Texas yesterday and what Daddysbus listed is correct. Our salesman did elude to another potential International model later this year.... called the "Globetrotter", but aside from that.....it is all tight lipped on any new models and trims. Excited about the electrical upgrades as that will save us the conveyer/inverter upgrade in a year. Also the added convenience of trickle charging while in storage. FYI dealer said 2018 models up about 5-7% but not quite 10% as previously posted in other threads.

One thing I thought interesting with the 2018 models is the 25RB. My wife and I liked that one, but hated the placement of the microwave. Being above the fridge my 5' tall wife would have had issues getting things in and out. I didn't understand why AS didn't replace the oven when you option in a convection microwave like they do with all the other floor plans. That seems to have changed. I may be trading in the 27FB now.

Please share your reasons for considering this change from 27 to 25. We are planning to purchase a 27 and your experiences may provide valuable insight. Thanks.

I too went in to purchase a 27' but ended up with a 25'. Where do you lose the 2'? Mostly in the closet space or so I am told. Layout is essentially the same! Also, so I am told, there are camp sites that 25' is the MAX length allowed? Mostly in California? In retrospect I am glad that we got the 25' if for no other reason than the TV I purchased is the Titan XD which is 14" longer than the regular Titan (and therefore longer than most standard trucks like F150 or Ram 1500)

It all just boils down to personal preference. First off, we really don't need the extra closet or counter space. We'd prefer to have the larger bathroom instead. Secondly, would be for modifications. We don't really care much for the dinette/couch set up. It would be a lot easier and cheaper for me to put in a new couch and install a desk in a 25RB than it would be in the 27FB due to placement of the furnace. Lastly, being from Texas, having 50 amp service in the shorter model would be nice. Plus, if we are at a place that doesn't have 50 amp the 30 amp might not have to work as hard.

Isn't the shower somewhat smaller in the 25RB because it doesn't have the cut out floor area that is in the 25FB?
