Snowbound Southern Pacific

This has been a heck of a winter here in New England, and the snow really is as deep as it appears. Interior pics will have to wait for the spring thaw!

Hi there, does anyone have the size of the round Southern Pacific logo? And the colors? Stencil'd originally or hand painted?

Any details appreciated.

I'm trying to recreate these on mine.

Thanks,
Dustin

If I get a chance, I'll put a tape to the remaining outline on mine. If you ebay search Southern Pacific, you will find a lot of memorabilia with the correct colors. I've actually purchased a couple of painted round signs that I thought I might one day attach to my bunkhouse.

The Southern Pacific graphic measures 12" in diameter. Also attached some previously promised interior pics. That is definitely not the original paint job.

Hello! I have a 1960 Airstream 35' Southern Pacific "SPstream" we just got in March. We put new tires on it, fixed the tongue latch (it had been beat into a pretzel shape) and a new 7-pin pigtail to the tow vehicle made it towable. The taillights even work!!
The image you show is the same as on the sides of mine and above the back door. It is 12" in diameter. I bought mine from someone on eBay for $9.95 for the blue, yellow and white. They also have red, yellow and white Southern Pacific vinyl stickers for $8.95. I was not sure what color to use so chose blue, yellow and white.
The serial number of our SPstream is 35S-1025 and SP# ED-135.
We got it earlier this year and was camping with it 2 weeks ago in Monument, Colorado with the Denco Unit. I am using a 1993 Airstream Ban to tow it with.
We have pictures but am not sure how to upload them here.
There is an article with pictures about this trailer in the June issue of the Four Corners Unit newsletter. How many of these 1960 Airstream 35S's are out there?? I thought mine was one of 3 but it looks like there might be more!

The Serial Number on mine is 35S - 1032.

How about some pics from everyone? I'd especially like to know more about the original interior colors and finishes.

Southern pacific airstream

Unfortunately previous owner painted interior. It was of plywood, and paneling. There was a plywood bed with dresser and closet on each end. They were separated by the kitchen and bathroom in the middle hallway.
