Funny you should mention it... The help we need as usual is for folks like you to write stories. This isn't our newsletter, it is OUR Newsletter (arms wide open towards everyone). We have enough materials for the grand International Issue coming up and due to be out before the International Rally. And for everyone who reeads this, that issue is not just about the International Rally but ALL things international and will include the more and more popular Big Red Numbers story.
We love what we are doing and we are very happy that people appreciate that contribution no matter how big or small it might seem. Your appreciation fuels us.

The paper is a little different that previous issues. Thank you for spotting that. Coming from a designer who has worked on many publications the feel of the piece in your hand can be as important as proper pairing of wine with food. The printer we are using has this as thier house stock so we actually save a little using this over other papers.
There are basically 2 kinds of paper - coated and uncoated. There are thousands of varieties in each kind. The uncoated paper is like your garden variety Xerox paper. The stock we use is dull coated - it is nice and smooth. But what we get using that kind of paper is very fine printing because the ink does not spread out (dot gain) like the uncoated stock does.
O.K. There - now you know all of our secrets!!! (No, you dont ).

I'll start writing today.
Kimber,
I'll start writing and find another old "Caravanner" story for ya soon. Glad to hear you already have stuff lined up for the next one. With the "East Coast VAC Rally" coming up in June, us East Coast VAC members will have something to write about I'm sure.

More kudos for the Vintage Advantage
Hi, Kimber,
Just wanted to add my congratulations on the latest VA. Ours arrived a couple of days ago in perfect condition. It was quite a surprise to find the VAC sticker inside.
You are doing a fantastic job with it. I will try to do my part by getting some "stuffing" to you.
See you down the road,
Nuvi

The Vintage advantage looks great! You have really raised the bar on this one. I even had fun writing that #8671 article for it - my first real story to ever go to print. The only condition concern with our copy when it arrived was a rub mark that wore thru the blue background near the top of the front cover.

Loved it!
Just got mine - everything was perfect including the sticker - my mom's in the hospital so I have read it cover to cover while sitting with her. Format is excellent and I can't wait until the next issue. I feel privileged to be in the vintage group. paula

Great VA issue!.
I especially enjoyed Shari's article on restoration. It makes me feel a whole lot better on my slow progress. There always seems to be that one little thing you forgot about before you can go on. I followed Forrest's advise on the Old Airstream Caravan movies DVD. I got the first dvd to copy correctly but I just can't get the second one to read properly. Guess I'll have to get that one from someone else. You guys are doing a wonderful job of providing a wide spectrum of articles. Makes one wonder if the Blue Beret will ever reach this quality.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks,
Tom

The BB will reach that quality as soon as we take that one over and start making some changes... Thanks for the compliments.
