I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
I'd like to thank everyone so far that has replied. I have gotten several very kind emails regarding my post. I appreciate those who have taken the time to write. And so you know I'm still looking, and still sane for the moment. Thanks for letting me vent 6/4/15
So here is my story. My name is Clifton Parker. I grew up in the Myrtle Beach, SC. area to which I moved back about 5 years ago after living in NYC, Los Angles, Tokyo, etc. I came back to this area to help care for my father who was diagnosed as being bi-polar. I have taken care of him ever since moving back and it's been a real challenge. He splits the year between being manic and depressed. Well he is entering his manic phase again, and I'm not sure I can take it again after last year as it was the worst yet. Why am I telling you this? Well I guess because I am hoping that maybe someone will read this and be able to help me. I technically don't really know anything about Airstreams - hooking up, maintenance, etc. I do know that i need some place to retreat and live that can provide me solace as I have lived in a mad house for 5 years. I'm an artiest/musician/business owner. I own a small advertising agency so I can work anywhere there is wifi. Anyway, I am writing all this in hopes that maybe someone has a Airstream they would like to sell for a good price and wouldn't mind dealing with someone who is a newbie.
So at this point I am looking for a well kept 27Fb Signature Series Airstream. I think the design of it is beautiful! I appeals to all my artistic senses. I'm not a big fan of the lighter color wood, but I love the lighter color upholstery. It would be great to have solar, but I know that's not common. So for the fun part. I don't have the money to buy a newer model so something a few years old in good shape would be great. I don't have $50k to spend, but I do have good credit (800's). So if you have something you think might fit the bill please contact me. And thanks for listening. I guess I need to get it off my chest too so why not here? Thanks again.
