VERY RARE, IF NOT ONLY ONE MADE
1967 Airstream
Sovereign 3 doors on 1 side made for factory executives. This unit was purchased to be converted for a mobile retail unit. It has been gutted for the remodel but owner found a storefront and had to cancel the project. The unit had already been through a partial remodel and was not original from what we could tell. The unit is now just the body on the frame and would need to be hauled and not towed to its new home.
This 3 door unit was made for the factory executives to use for the
1968 Jamboree in New York. After the event it made its way to New Jersey where in sat in the wood for God knows how long as a modified fishing/hunting cabin. Long enough for squirrels to pack it with 6 50 gallon garbage bags of acorns in the walls and floors.
Images in open are prior to last purchase for better view of build up. Current condition is good on body/skin, fair on frame, I would replace running gear which is the reason is would need transport.
We really wanted to run with the project but with a new store have no time. This unit could be the dream retail unit for the right person and worth a mint when completed.
