Classifieds Effectiveness

We're thinking about selling our unit. For those of you who have listed on the classifieds here and sold, how would you rate the effectiveness? Are you getting your asking price or settling for reasonable offers? Any lessons learned? Thanks.

I sold my 2012 28' Intl CCD in 3 days after putting it on AirForums Classified. Full price.

I bought our 31 classic off the classifieds, emailed the man , he called Made a deal on the phone and I drove to Tennessee to pick it up......

I bought my 2014 FC 30 off the classifieds and it was the only place I would look or consider. Really nice guy, talked over phone and even paid him to bring it to me.

The classifieds are how we found our 75 Overlander. The price was right for the repairs needed so we didn't haggle.
Not to jack your thread, but due to situational changes we may be sellng ours also ...

Bought our 2nd, a 62 Ambassador, off classifieds. Exchanged emails first and after a few back and forth we exchanged phone numbers. Seller would have ideally liked cash deposit but we drove to CA within a few days of contacting him. Took cash and a bank cashiers check and did a bill of sale document on scene. Paid asking price as the work already done was professionally completed and we already had some experience with renovation and we believed it was priced appropriately.
