Title: 2013 Airstream Sport 22 - Minnesota
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
2013 Sport 22 that was purchased brand new in March 2014 from the Airstream dealer in Milwaukee, WI. We have used this for weekends over the last 2 1/2 years and are sad to see it go. We have a 16 month old baby and another one on the way, hence our airstreaming days are put on hold- probably for multiple years. This has been the most fun my wife and I have had together as a couple and we are excited to do this again someday, but for now we hope that someone can enjoy this as much as we did! It's in really great shape everywhere, other than one spot on the back of the unit that got lightly bumped on our deck when backing it into our driveway. It could be popped out, but we just didn't get around to it as it was a relatively minor issue to us.
You can see the stock pictures of the 22' sport on airstream's website (they really haven't changed since this model) and we added the following:
- fantastic fan (nearly $1000 if i remember correctly)
- Equalizer Hitch sway control ($500 or so)
- LED lights (if you want to boondock without a generator, this is essential to preserving your battery)
- and everything else you can think of for getting you started with the camper (hoses, extra sewer hoses, electrical cords, the right tools you need, fuses, full propane tanks, dishes, silverware, leveling blocks, lawn mat, coffee maker, mattress pad which was always used with a mattress protector, etc etc.) We don't have a need for these items when we sell, so if someone wants to be ready to drive and go we plan to include it all.
I bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland V8 that has just under 70k miles on it (which has hydraulics that come in very handy when you aren't on a perfectly level site) with the camper that i would consider selling with the unit if someone were interested in both. It's far more than what you'd need to pull the airstream and it's a great ride. I'm sure this will get traded in for a mini-van soon anyway. Yikes!
