Title: 2006 Airstream Safari SS SE 25 - Illinois
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Up for sale is a 75th Anniversary 2006 Airstream Safari SS (sleeps six) Special Edition. I am the 2nd owner and have taken impeccable care of the trailer since January 2008.
The 25 SS is a great floor plan, the shortest model to include both a real sofa (not cushions on plywood) and a dinette. The trailer is wide open inside and feels very large for a 25 foot model.
Most of the blinds have been replaced with insulated curtains and the furniture has been reupholstered in ultra leather.
135 watts of rooftop solar and 120 watt portable solar through Morningstar MPPT charge controller, Tri-Metric monitor.
The refrigerator got a new cooling unit in 2013. Water pump and 3-stage converter were replaced in 2015. Maxim 3-layer polycarbonate skylight.
I apologize for the poor exterior photos. I'll be washing and waxing this weekend. One minor ding where I bumped trailer with a canoe, and the bumper is pressed in about a quarter inch from a slow-speed battle with a tree.
I love this trailer but it's time for an upgrade.
