Title: 2005 Airstream Safari 25 - Washington
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
June 17th update: 2 weeks after original post
560 views and 4 more contacts, no offers.
Price is now 33,000.
This past week I had a Tech from Al's RV come to the barn...Turns out the
Oven is fine, I just did'ent know how to light it!! No one ever used it anyway.
The Porcelain toilet I ordered was not going to work so sent it back and now have
a new exact replacement (plastic).
BTW the original (just repainted Weight Distribution/Anti sway system comes with it)
That is worth a grand.
Forgot to mention that I replaced the Co2/propane detector a couple months back when I realized they should be replaced every 5 years....I got one that's good for 10.
I modified the bumper storage for better seal and more volume...Got rave reviews on the Airforums when I posted it)
Also replaced the cheepo $35 skylight with a $400 marine grade hatch so that you can get on the roof to inspect/clean with out leaning a ladder on the side. Custom ladder is included that stows either inside or in the back hatch.
REASON FOR SELLING....I just spent the last year rebuilding from the ground up a 26' (now 27') 1965
Any takers out there?? This is actually getting fun now that I'm over the separation anxiety part :-)

Let's shake things up folks this is a very nice trailer!
Price is now 34,000 and this week I installed ALL new interior overhead lights with
"ThinLine" LED fixtures. The Patio lights I replaced a couple years ago with HELA LED light fixtures that glow in 4 different intensities White or Red (marine grade). This is an upgrade that is worth around $1,000 and now that I've done it I wish I'd done it long ago....the difference to the interior is amazing. So in fact I've "lowered the price" by 2K...1/2 of which I'm paying for!!
So every time I lower the price I will add a couple points to prove this trailer is what it is.
1) There was a dent in one of the wraps and in removing and replacing I noticed that the insulation under the trailer was sub standard. So I dropped the belly pan from the bumper to and including the water tank and re-insulated with 1" styrofoam...repainted the entire chassis, wheel wells and axels then put it all back together. Replaced the shower drain and double re-enforced the shower pan while I was down there. That job is easily worth a couple thousand.
2) Then I painted the banana wraps, straight wraps and everything else like the tongue, battery box etc in a lighter grey than factory color....marine enamel by Petit.
3) I replaced the front window guard lexan, all exterior storage gaskets...and all exterior fasteners with SST. The lower trim chrome band is new also and completely refastened under with SST and re - sealed.
Hello! I bought this A.S. 5+ years ago, took it to Fife RV for full check up/re-seal and put it in my barn up on blocks and it's sat there ever since. It is on it's second set of tires and they are like new.
Has all options except solar but comes with a never used solar panel that plugs into the umbilical and is free standing. Awning is like new.
I've just replaced the batteries, propane tanks and gone through all systems. In the five years I've done too much to it to mention here.
No scratches/modifications on interior. Exterior is a 98%er
This is a "no excuses, no non sense" deal and will make the new owner proud.
Load leveler and a bottle of champagne included
Feel free to call if qualified and serious....if not; please don't
