Title: 2005 Airstream International CCD 16 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Our 2005 CCD International Bambmbii 16 feet is grudgingly up for sale. We are planning to live permanently in a new trailer and have upgraded to a 25'just for some extra space.
The 16' Bambi CCD is Designed by Christopher Deam
This is a rare and highly sought-after trailer that was produced between 2005 and 2007. If you are looking for a 16 foot Bambi International you will know all of the specs- the Bambi International is the top of the line and they don't make an International in the 16' size any more (just a sport model).
Included in this trailer are all of the stock items including: water tank monitor, electric jack, air conditioning, fantastic fan, furnace, two propane tanks, two batteries purchased in summer of 2015, new tires purchase in summer of 2015, self contained bathroom with toilet and shower, two burner stove, Dometic refrigerator, Zipp Dee awning and a $500 Airstream approved 2 bicycle carrier installed. We have every manual for the items included if they came with one. I am not going to get into all of the specs because if you are seriously looking for an Airstream you will know what they have and you can pull up the manual online. We replaced the laminate flooring with a bamboo flooring and reinforced the subfloor that is very sturdy and sheek.
The flaws of the Airstream are as follows:
A scratch/light dent about 6 inches in length to the right of the entry door and a lighter 2nd scratch about 5 inches long next to it. See picture- can hardly see it in both front pics.
A 3" spot where the clear coat peeled off in the back left side exterior rounded corner.
A small laminate chip out of the upper cabinet approximately an inch and a half long by 2 millimeters. See picture.
Some of the wood trim laminate tape on the three cabinet doors beneath the sink have worn and are peeling. We have a replacement roll of laminate and it is very easy to install if we don't get to it.
The sink drain ring has started to corrode- does not affect the function of the sink and can be easily replaced.
Normal wear to the bamboo floor.
Normal Airsteam aging on handle and panels.
Everything else is in very good/excellent working order. We do a twice annual overhaul on this to replace any worn/used parts such as fantastic fan screen, AC filters, we have replaced most halogen bulbs with LED bulbs, etc. Last check-up at Airstream in Downey/C&G Trailer was January 2016. The Airstream is extremely clean and kept well maintained. Any wear and tear would be normal condition for a 2005 from camping/glamping and anybody who has seen it agrees it is exceptionally clean and ready to go.
Honestly this Airstream is in very good condition and has given us years of very fun camping and excellent adventures.
We have towed the Bambi with a Cadillac Escalade and GMC Denali both V8 and it tows like a dream and anybody can drive and tow - weight is about 3000 no sway bars needed vs the larger sized 25 at 7000 lbs which sway and need bars and a lot of power for hills.
Will respond to serious inquiries only- we get there are a lot of air dreamers- so if you don't have a tow vehicle and are not interested in buying today, please be respectful of our time too.
Pictures being added. Clean Title in hand. Airstream is in Hermosa Beach June 10-June14 and will be in Walnut Creek June 14th on.
