2004 Airstream Safari 28 - Nebraska

Title: 2004 Airstream Safari 28 - Nebraska
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

This is a great 2004 Airstream Safari with the queen bed configuration.

We purchased this trailer 9 months ago and have had a great time creating a retro trailer with the amenities of a late-model.

We removed the old carpet and added retro linoleum tiles.
The cushions were all replaced with a top quality foam covered in a high quality easily cleanable neutral upholstery. The cushions are more comfortable for sleeping and they should hold their shape over time.

The window coverings were replaced with custom curtains. The curtains were made for the Airstream and are lined making them plenty thick for privacy.

The stereo system was updated and is Bluetooth compatible. It is also capable of playing satellite radio. New speakers were added in the living area as well as the bedroom.

The formica table and counter were replaced with fun retro colors that coordinate with the theme of the trailer.

The lower kitchen cabinets were rebuilt paying close attention to detail. They even have vintage red drawer pulls!

The gas range was replaced as was the exhaust fan above the range. The range has a nice new cover adding much more usable counter space when you are not cooking.

We added a combination microwave/convection oven/grill below the range. This is amazing and really does do everything from popping popcorn to baking to roasting vegetables.

The sink and faucet were replaced with a double sink complete with covers.

The refrigerator/freezer is a great size, works well and is very clean.

The lights above the table, sink, couch and bed were all replaced. Nice new bulbs were put in all the fixtures and are energy efficient.

The bathroom was completely refurbished adding mirrored cabinets that make great use of a small space! The mirrors are amazing at reflecting light. The bathroom has better light than my bathroom at home!

The shower is in great shape. The sprayer was replaced.

The toilet is new and functions well without using too much water.

The queen bed is very comfortable. The storage under the bed was redone making it much more convenient to use.

There are new high volume exhaust fans in the bathroom and in the shower. These work very well and are an upgrade from the standard fans.

There are two Fan-tastic vent fans in the trailer. One in the bedroom and one in the living area. These are amazing, if you have never used one. They can pull air out or in and they close if they sense rain!

The air conditioning unit is working well. The heating unit has only been used once since we purchased the trailer, but it worked well when we needed it.

The existing skylight was replaced with a new clear residential skylight. It is so clear that you can easily see the stars at night. It has a shade that pulls over it as well.

The outside of the trailer is in great condition. We replaced the single step with a much safer two step pullout.

There is a full-length awning that is in great working condition on the entrance side of the trailer.

The water heater is working well. The water tank capacity can easily last the weekend with four people showering daily as well as cooking, washing hands, etc.

We installed a new power jack This really does work as well as they say! It is amazing.

Please ask questions. The price is negotiable as are the items in the trailer. We are only parting with this trailer because we had so much fun redoing it that we are looking to buy another one!

I am only including one exterior photo due to site restrictions on number of photos. I am happy to email more.

The trailer has been used this summer. It is in great shape and we will make sure it is very clean before it goes to its new home!

Buyer is responsible for transport, but we are happy to work with you as much as we can.
