I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
2001 Ford Excursion with 7.3 diesel used for towing a 28 ft Airstream. The advantage of this vehicle is the storage which is all enclosed and keeps clothes, food lawn chair, etc. out of the rain and elements. Incredible amount of storage space.
This truck is equipped with a tow package and in addition has had heavy duty shocks added for towing and leveling air pillows over the rear axle to adjust the level of the vehicle while towing.
Interior is in good shape with leather seats. Exterior is in very good shape with a slight bit of sun wear along the roof line.
This truck has a brake controller and is set up for towing.
New tires were purchased less then 200 miles ago. (a $1500 cost)
This is a really nice vehicle. I will miss it.
