HISTORY
We have owned this beautiful 1998 Airstream Classic Limited since 2007, and it has been stored under cover when not in use. We have used it for a couple of camping trips in the summers and only about 4 other one month trips since we have owned it. It has been meticulously maintained . We are only selling this trailer because we travel often with our grandkids and we need a larger unit. We have been told many times while in campgrounds that this is the prettiest Airstream they have ever seen.
INTERIOR
The interior of the trailer is in excellent condition, and it is pet and smoke free. This trailer is a Limited Edition and therefore comes with numerous upgrades such as Solid Oak dining table and coffee tables, electric stabilizer jacks all around, as well as red Zip Dee awnings on all windows, and a beautiful hardwood floor in the galley. All other areas are carpeted. This trailer sleeps 5-6 people with twin beds in the bedroom with lots of storage underneath and above. The jack knife sofa converts to a full size bed as well as does the booth dinette. The dinette and sofa also have large drawers underneath for storage. The cabinets are Solid Oak with Corian countertops in the kitchen and bath, and the kitchen has a porcelain double sink with a 3 burner cooktop, as well as a convection microwave. Day/night shades are included on all windows, and there is a thermostat controlled Fantastic fan in the living room and bedroom, as well as a skylight in the living room and bath. The air conditioner and the toilet have been replaced and all appliances and systems work perfectly.
EXTERIOR
The exterior is also in great shape. There is a small amount of clear coat fade above the windows on the street side. The electric jack on the trailer tongue is new and the brakes were replaced a short while ago. In addition, the tires were replaced last year with Maxxis 8008 load range E rated tires. The trailer also comes with a Hensley hitch which is the finest load distribution anti-sway hitch made. The hitch alone sells for over $2,000. As you can see from the pictures, the trailer has been waxed a couple of times per year and it shows.
