I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
1991 Airstream Land Yacht 36

This is a "Classic" Motor Coach and attracts attention everywhere it goes. Fully self contained, 36 ft. length.
Powered by a 454 Chevrolet engine (Gas), Built on a P30 Chevrolet Truck Chassis. This vehicle was state of the art in 1991 and has about any option you could get at that time. Way to much to list.
6.5 Onan Generator (w/upgraded electronics).
2- 13,500 btu roof mount A/C units.
125 lb. propane tank, (ASME). All appliances working, tank low at 1/4 should be purged and system inspected prior to refill. Recommendation from propane supplier and AS manual just for safety.
80gal fresh water tank.
43gal grey water tank.
45gal black water tank.
Air Ride Suspension - Manual fill.
Hydraulic Leveling system.
8 new tires with less than 300 miles mounted on 19.5 Alcoa aluminum wheels. (Classy)
2 spare tires, (1 mounted) ~95% tread remaining.
New Transmission - 4L80E
All new belts, hoses, water pump, re cored radiator 105 amp alternator.
3 fairly new batteries, 2 deep cycle auxiliary, 1 main.
New Exhaust system.
All appliances work on designated power sources.
All interior lighting has new lamps.
Interior is all original and shows some wear but is clean. Fresh coat of Dicor roof paint/sealer on Nov.8,2014
Exterior is in good condition but the graphics (stripes) are deteriorated due to sunlight and the paint is oxidized somewhat. We worked on buffing and polishing it with some success but we stopped.
Overall the vehicle is in good mechanical condition with no problems that would prevent current use.
There are a few minor mechanical/electrical issues that could use improvement. Intermittent wiper control(wipers work)needs a new relay. Some sticky rocker switches. All of the A/C dash vent controls are new and working but the duct sequence is not right and have narrowed the problem to vacuum lines.
This is a "Big" vehicle and is way too large for our needs so we have decided to let it go. We have over $17,000 invested not counting all the time we spent repairing/replacing almost everything it needed. We are asking $12,500 for it, OBO. We are the 3rd owners, Vehicle has 76,146 actual miles with a clean current CarFax and matching documentation. Clear Title. I have the original deliver order, a factory Airstream and Chevrolet manual with all systems included. Even a set of original keys packed in grease in a hide-a-key box we found up under the frame. Vehicle has a current VA State Inspection. The R/V is 23 yeas old and it's not perfect but you could live in it comfortably. Very smooth riding also! Currently subject to prior sale on Craigslist and Ebay.
