This was the big one - the 345 Classic tag-axle twin-bed MH. VIN 1GBKP37W0G3333392. Mechanically sound - recent RI inspection completed without issue. 119130 miles on the odo, Chevrolet LE8 454 gas motor, no leaks, new carburetor has only 50 miles on it since installation. Everything's stock and pretty much the way it was 30 years ago. Items that need attention include replacing the window curtains and weatherstripping, repairing several areas of rust in the exterior storage compartments, and the driver's seat armrests need new vinyl. All eight tires were replaced three years ago, and new air bags installed on the tag axle. Second owner - vehicle has only been used as a local support vehicle for the Naval Sea Cadets since 2004. Maintained by one garage (Interstate Diesel Inc.) for the past 13 years - all service records are on board, along with the complete Airstream owners manual and the Chevrolet P30 Chassis manual. This motorhome has always been kept at our local Air National Guard base, has never lived on the street. A near-unique piece of rolling Airstream heritage!
