1986 Airstream - Washington

Title: 1986 Airstream - Washington
We just listed our 1986 Airstream NULL for Sale on Airstream Classifieds.

Year: 1986 Make: Airstream Model: NULL Length: '

The time has come to part with our much loved 1986 Argosy 33 foot Travel Trailer. We lost our house in 2010 and had to move into this trailer full time. It has been very good to us and we are sad to be leaving. I have a clear and complete title, and it is sitting on good tires. That having been said, it does need work. We put in a tankless water heater instead of the 10 gallon WH that normally came with these trailers. So you can have hot water as long as you have the faucet on. There are a few issues I was going to tackle, but now I simply don't have the time or money as we have moved into a house. I am going to list everything up front that I believe you will need to address so there are no surprises.
This is a project trailer, so if you expect something pristine, you will be disappointed. We had a "professional" do some work on it two years ago, and here are some of the items he missed
First, The belly band needs to be resealed. I didn't know about it until this year, so corners of the floor are wet. Reseal it and it should be fine.
Second, there is a soft spot in the shower stall. We resealed the pan this year but it seeped through before that.
Third, there is an electrical short, everything was working until we got it back from the "professional" and had no choice but to take it. Either that or live under a bridge. The short only is affecting some of the lights. All appliances (fridge, A/C, microwave, etc) still work
The Black Water valve will need to be replaced, you will need a new cover for the grey water and black water valves.
The trailer is still a very nice trailer, if you can do a few repairs, you will have a unique and very livable trailer.
We are asking 3500.00 O.B.R.O It was manufactured by Airstream and it does have a lot of life left in it.
You can email me here or call me at (360) 548-3387. Ask for Allen Thank you Argosy By Airstream Project (Solid starter)
