I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Meet Amelia, a 37-yr-old silver bullet & a blank canvas for somebody's crazy ideas! The exterior of this beauty is in amazing shape for its age. Much of the yucky gutting work has been done. We were going to convert into some sort of food truck/coffee bar, but have made some changes to our priorities...would love to see someone take her and run with her!
If you're interested, there's a couple of challenges to be aware of for picking her up (reflected in the lower price).
- We moved and no longer own the property that Amelia sits on. The owners are friends and have been super flexible as we work to sell her, but that will limit the windows of time that you'll be able to look at/pick up the trailer.
- There's a 1.5' wooden retaining wall that blocks the exit. Will need some kind of ramp solution to get the vehicle to the hitch AND to pull her out.
- The power system has been removed, so the powered hitch is no longer operable. Will need to attach a manual lift. Also, without the power system intact, you'll need some kind of temporary brake lights for traveling.
