This is a fully restored 24 foot Airstream Argosy Minuet 7.3 Trailer. Asking $19,500
This Airstream/Argosy is called a Minuet 7.3 and is slightly narrower than a standard Airstream Trailer, no mirror extensions are needed on a full size truck. This trailer has been completely restored from the frame up, “Shell Off.” But it has also been upgraded for serious off grid use. The trailer has a new 4 inch steel frame and two new axles. A 300 watt solar charging system and large battery array has been added (worth $3,500). Water storage has been increased to 51 gallons. A composting toilet has been installed, which eliminates the need for a black water tank, allowing more gray water storage. The roof was painted white to reduce solar heat gain, which is very high for aluminum. The trailer is called a 24 foot trailer, it is 24 feet from rear bumper to the front hitch ball. The aluminum shell/living space is 20 feet long and 7'4” wide. The dry weight is 3,900 lbs, the trailer with six batteries and 51 gals of water weighs approximately 4,700 lbs. The axles are rated at 3,600 lbs each for a total capacity of 7,200 lbs, allowing 2,500 lbs of load capacity. There is a dent in the right front panel, and several smaller dents in the right rear. Everything in the trailer works properly. The trailer is very clean, functional, and very comfortable with all new fabrics and flooring. The trailer has all new insulation in the walls and floors. The trailer has a large pull out bed, lots of storage, two wardrobe closets, two large cloths drawers, lots of overhead storage, work desk in bedroom, pantry, shower, two small tables that fold out, very comfortable couch, two fantastic fans, LED lighting, awnings, & cd player. Also included is a weight distribution hitch with anti sway system. The trailer tows very nicely, no sway, is narrow and stable. High side winds do not effect the stability. All equipment in the trailer is new except the AC and stove/oven, which are both in good working order. This trailer has more extras than most Airstreams listed online.
