Title: 1977 Airstream Sovereign
31 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Go "glamping" this weekend. If you do not want to be the center of attention everywhere you go and you don't want to talk about your Airstream everywhere you go stop reading this and start looking at other brand travel trailers. We love the attention and really enjoy it. We have loved and enjoyed both our Airstream Travel Trailers but now we don't want to tow anymore. Getting too old. Have decided to go motorized. Hopefully an Airstream. Will strongly consider trade for Class A Airstream. Outside, axles in good condition and within specs as determined by the Airstream Service Reps and the Dexter Axle Rep that attended AlumaFlamingo. Bearings flushed and repacked, new grease seals and new Bearing Buddies installed. 4 brand new steel belted radial tires, trailer rated with new steel tire valves on original Airstream "mags". Brakes in excellent condition. New breakaway switch. Electric tongue jack works great. 4 new BAL stabilizers. Original aluminum propane tanks recently updated with new valves and recertified, new lp hoses and new regulator. New blue mouldings all the way around. All exterior lights work including the fiber-optics lights on the side that let you know from the driver's seat if your taillights, turn signal lights, and brake lights are working, new 25 foot shorecord, wired for park cable, brand new Coleman Arctic Kat A/C, 15K with heat. Brand new awning fabric. All windows work, no leaks. Inside, original shag carpeting removed (allergies) and new vinyl laminate floor installed throughout, all 3 Moen faucets have brand new cartridges, new shower head, new hotel type swing out shower curtain rod, new high rise porcelain toilet, new WFCO converter, new batteries, new Dometic refrigerator (120 volt and lp) in galley, new small Norcold refrigerator (120 volt and 12 volt) in bottom of one closet, original gas only water heater works great, original 4 burner gas stove with oven works great. All inside lights work. Added several new 120 volt puck lights inside. Furnace (gas) works great. Trailer has been completely redone, not trying to restore it but making every effort to keep it as close to original as possible. Original Owner's Manual. Ready to go camping. Everything works, just hook up to it and go. Will throw in weight distribution bars and stinger with the 2 5/16 ball required for Airstreams. Also selling 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Super Heavy Duty Quad Cab HEMI V-8 pick-up truck that we won't be needing anymore. $14,500.00 or best offer for Airstream, $9,500.00 or best offer for truck. We will continue to go camping in it until it sells. Currently have a 12 day trip up North planned for the last two weeks of the year. All reasonable offers will be considered. Contact us and we will be more than happy to show it to you.
