1977 ARGOSY 26 T FOR SALE OR TRADE. THIS UNIT IS 26 FEET LONG. DROP DOWN LIST DOES NOT HAVE 26 AVAILABLE.
We purchased this trailer intending to refurbish and camp in the trailer for an extended portion of the year. As it happens, changes have given us a new direction. We have done a great deal to the unit getting it ready to roll but there are a few items, primarily decorating, yet to complete.
We have done the following:
New furnace, water heater regulator, water pressure regulator in 2015
2 new dump valves, fresh water tank valve and reskinned belly pan in rear of coach (last 4 feet).
New A/C unit in 2014 and new toilet in 2013.
4 shocks and 4 new tires (8 ply) with good spare tire (2014). (only 500 miles)
Good Bearing repack and Brakes check good.
4 original Argosy wheel caps ( Try to find these anywhere!)
Fresh water pump in 2012.
Both propane tanks have new OPD valves and have been certified (2014).
New flooring in unit
Recovered sofa bed
New bed covers and mattresses
All new plastic lenses on interior lights.
Copper water lines replaced with PEX.
Range top and door powder coated in Black
Recent new Dometic Refrigerator 2012.
Clear, gray and black water tanks and dump system work correctly.
Full length Lazy Dee awning.
One set of tandem tire covers and a full unit cover are included with the trailer.
UNIT JUST COMPLETED FULL INSPECTION AND SERVICE AT DEALER IN TUCSON.
Still some trim to complete and a few aesthetics inside but ready to camp in right now. TOW VEHICLE AVAILABLE – DELIVERY AVAILABLE BUT NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE.
Unit tows very well behind a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT which is factory fitted out for towing and is available along with the trailer as a package which has:
5.9L V-8 with the HD 4 speed Auto Transmission
Limited Slip 3.55 rear end
All fluids are Amsoil premium synthetic lubes
Plugs, wires, cap and rotor
Recent water pump, thermostat and hoses with coolant change
Durango is an 8 passenger unit with full towing package, HD cooling with aux coolers for tranny and power steering, fully wired for 7 pin trailer and electric trailer brake controller is already installed. Front and Rear A/C and heat, tilt, cruise, roof rack, etc. Tires have approximately 8K miles on them from Big O. Approximately 81,000 miles on the vehicle which will rise as I use it for work.
Package is $17,500. Clean Clear AZ Title on each unit. If sold separately, trailer is offered at $13,500 and Dodge at $6,000. If package is split up, then the Dodge will not be sold until the trailer is sold. I do not have another tow vehicle to use in its place. Trades considered, depending on what is offered.
