1976 31' Salvage Parts

Title: Add New - Airstream Trailer Classifieds - Airstream Trailers For Sale
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

My 1976 31' Airstream was taken out by a tree in a windstorm last July. I've finally salvaged all the parts I can and want to find homes for everything. I have most of the windows with frames for sale, the door and frame, rear awning, rear bumper, the entire "front clip" that is intact and can be sold as one piece, which includes all good glass in the front piece. The trailer frame was compromised by the tree but could be repaired easily if someone wanted it for their AS... like all AS trailers, it needs a fuselage to provide a big part of the structural integrity. I have all the original emblems, and Air Stream letters. I kept some of the ribs and some of the aluminum structural parts in case you need them. Contact me at hoytp01 at Hotmail dot com for more information and to make offers. I'd like to sell these parts to help recover some of the value from this uninsured loss... but I'm willing to listen to any reasonable offer. I've shipped some things across the country already and everything arrived undamaged. Please let me know as soon as practical if you have any interest at all in what you see. I will gladly provide any additional information about specific parts, including detailed photos.
Thanks, Pete

I've had a busy few weeks selling parts. I've had so many emails that I must apologize to anyone who didn't get through that wanted to. Really hard to keep track of who needs which part and where they live and how much it will cost to ship.

I've sold just about everything except for:

The front clip (includes the two curved side windows and the square front window), asking $400 for that remaining parts.

Have the 2 axles.

Have 4 of the upper Sky View (curved) windows and 2 of the lower "dirt view" (flat) windows that were below the big side windows.

Two of the roof vents. (I think I'm currently talking to someone who wants them.)

The fridge vent cover and the part the went through the skin.

All of the tanks.

Marine grade plywood (1/2 inch) cut for the flooring.

The original 4 burner stove/oven. It is in the sort of condition I'd expect for a stove that old.

The original toilet.

I even have the original A/C unit and the cover for it.

Some of the exterior trim pieces.

Lots of the awning arms and brackets from the awning.

Plastic inner wheel wells. (I think I'm currently talking to someone who wants them.)

So far the biggest problem has been the cost of shipping. That has killed more deals than anything else. Best deals have been for those few who drove several hours to meet me.

I'll try to post some pics of what remains just in case anyone is still looking for what I have left at this point.

Thanks,
Pete

Update:

Just about everything is gone now. I have 3 of the flat oval windows and 3 of the curved "Skyview" windows left. I also have the two axles and the front clip left. I am presently working with someone to see if we can ship that front clip to PA from ID via Fastenal... apparently they are now shipping for customers between their stores and it is supposed to be very cheap.

I also have: All the tanks from below deck and the fresh water tank holding tray. All going to the dump soon unless I find someone local who needs it.

The original A/C unit and the cover (with a few cracks).

Some of the shell to deck extruded aluminum pieces that fit over the edge of the plywood (1/2 in my case) that the shell is riveted to. That includes the rear piece that went all the way across the back end of the floor.
