Title: 1975 Airstream Overlander 27 - Texas
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Great Airstream ready to camp.
All new fresh water plumbing (PEX) to include faucets, pressure regulator and toilet flush valve, new tires, new gas hoses and automatic change over regulator, new factory curtains, new battery charger, new side crank tongue jack and new break-away switch.
It has a newer 110vac/gas (no pilot) 10-gallon hot water heater, newer 3-way fridge, newer AC (works great), and newer laminate flooring from a PO with no sub-floor damage found.
It has a 23 inch flat-screen TV and DVD/Blu-ray player mounted near the gaucho. The upholstery is in good condition. The awning frame is good, but the cloth needs replacing.
It has a catalytic heater and the original furnace is in good condition (not one of the ones recalled). No leaks from the black or gray dump valves. The wheel bearings were serviced and the brakes adjusted last fall. It comes with a Reese Equalizing Hitch.
Also included is a “blue boy” tote, original owner’s manual, manuals for appliances, 30# gas bottles with current inspection and filled, and skirting for cold weather. The inter-vehicle connection has been updated and uses a seven pin jack on the trailer and tow vehicle, all of the running lights work.
We originally bought it “as is” with the intention of full timing in it. While making the necessary repairs we had a huge change in plans – part of which included relocating from Colorado to Texas.
For your tow vehicle planning the following specifications:
Factory weight – 4600# (actual weight of the trailer)
GVWR – 6200# (maximum weight with your stuff in the trailer)
Tongue weight – 500#
