Title: 1975 Airstream Ambassador 29 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Ambassador up for sale or trade for smaller airstream. We are regrettably putting our Airstream up for sale. It’s a 29′ center bath Ambassador, It has been 90% restored, the only remaining project is the bathroom and some light fixtures, we just didn’t know what way we wanted to go with the lights or bathroom. I have replaced subfloor issues in the bad areas, and laid down and under laminate, and then vinyl allure plank flooring (scratch resistant and water proof). All the cabinets are custom built, and we put a new convection oven, three burner cook top, new fridge and closet system, all new water pipe plumbed from service entrance throughout, new oring kit for black water tank, custom bed with lift up mattress for storage underneath and storage on both sides as well, two flat screen LED TVs (one in bedroom is a smart TV), newer Dometic AC, aluminum LP tanks and an extra set of steel tanks also. Weighs around 6500 loaded down according to CAT DOT certified scale, pulls great with my
1500 Silverado. Was polished a few years ago, could stand to get another once over, but still shines really good. Has a blue Zip Dee but a branch fell through it but could be patched or possible sewn, also one one the window in the bedroom. I may have a on demand water heater soon, but still has functioning 10 gallon Suburban water heater. We’ve lived in the AS full time for the last year or so, but like I said earlier, REGRETTABLY, we are selling.
