Title: 1973 Airstream Argosy 26 - Washington
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This great little trailer was our home while we built a house. When the house was done, the Argosy got sort of forgotten....
It's been stored, since... rarely opened, for over 15 years. Now this Argosy is being offered as it is, with only very minor cleaning having been done. While everything worked perfectly when it was put away, it HAS been long out of service and should probably be checked over for roadworthy operation. I don't have the time nor the inclination to mess with it..
The interior is mainly original and is remarkably complete and functional...A little scrubbing needed. The body and frame are 100%, paint needs scrubbing, too, and touchup outside.... The running gear looks great, the hitch (load-leveler) is excellent for towing. Many people seem to want these Argosy/Airstreams now for "tiny house" duty..That is how we pretty much used it for the 3 seasons we called it home...
The previous owner kept a large binder with all the original equipment factory manuals...including the original certificate of origin, owners manual, etc etc. The factory wall heater was removed at some time in the past.
If you've read this far, you probably know the Argosy/Airstream trailers are quite desirable... If you are simply looking to have a very good, almost original and functional (it was when we stored it) Argosy to use, come take a look, or send some RV technician to inspect it for you.Very cool, very retro.
If you are a "trailer-flipper" or an Airstream collector, this would be a no-brainer as a "restore to stock" and sell for big $...

I'm looking for the best offer cash, as is ... I have Oregon DMV title in hand...and the original certificate of Origin from the factory..I will throw in the garlic hanging in one of the pictures...grin.
