Excellent project trailer. Great investment. Rare 1972 Airstream Safari 23'LandYacht.
Solid aluminum shell, with all glass & doors. No leaks. Original interior in good shape, with Dometic fridge & Magic Chef stove. Original Zip Dee awning works, but needs patchwork, or replacing. Original gaucho in working condition. Electrical wiring, furnace, plumbing & appliances all in need of work and I have not tested the water tanks. Belly pan, front end & suspension are good, but rear bumper has rusted clean through. Bumper can be repaired by welding side plates across the weld seams for added strength. Otherwise frame is good. Would recommend replacing bathroom floor. Plastic bins & storage doors broken or missing, but can easily be replaced with Rubbermaid or Tupperware containers. Was recently moved, rolls ok, tires holding air well & treads are good, but unsure of age. Could be original? So you may need new tires. Excellent Trailer. Airstream classic. Needs TLC, but great investment for the right person!
