1972 Globetrotter Air-stream
Well, here it is...it has taken some trying times to decide to sell this Air-stream. But now that we have and do enjoy our Road trek it's time to put this up for sale for someone else to enjoy.
My husband says it can't just be Garden Art any longer.
This isn't the Globetrotter for everyone. It has been decorated to please us and possibly you!!! If you are into a rustic/ Ralph Lauren sorta look...you may want to look closer. We have borrowed some of those ideas and added many of our own.
It is finished with authentic Birch bark on many of the flat surfaces along with red twig accents. These items have been hand picked and tediously applied.
We have had much fun in the doing and hope you, too, will appreciate the efforts.
The items that you see in the coach are being sold with the unit. From the wine glasses to the great printed rugs.
The following items have all been replaced and or updated...
1. Brakes
2. Tires have been replaced
3. Water pump
4. Water heater
5. Furnace
6. Electrical system
7. Lino ...50's design...on floor
8. TV antenna
9. Upholstery is a Indian type print on all cushions...sewn by a professional.
Awning is original/excellent condition
Stove is also original/works well
Refrigerator works on AC & DC only
Sleeps four...two front gauchos
The exterior is in fantastic condition for the age but has not been polished.
Seems to be some confusion in the length of the Globetrotter...I'm going with 21 ft. Whichever, it is a very desirable size.
It's over 40 years old...so, of course, it's a clear title.
It has some of the age issues that one would expect but overall this is a fun well kept up little coach and has many more pleasant journeys to offer you.

This 1972 Unique Airstream Globetrotter can be seen in Baldwin Michigan.
It is stored at our cabin which is about an hour north of Grand Rapids and an hour south of Traverse City on the west side of the state.
