Title: 1971 Airstream Tradewind 25 - New Mexico
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This is a 25' dual-axle 1971 AIRSTREAM Land Yacht TRADE WIND with the rear bath configuration, sofa/beds in the middle and front of the trailer for comfortably sleeping four. Both sofa/beds have recently been re-upholstered (7/15).
The bathroom has a sink, toilet and shower; the middle bedroom has overhead and underbed storage, and, a closet and work space with under-counter storage.
The kitchen has a fully functional Dometic dual-source refrigerator and freezer(the cooling unit was replaced 10/07); a fully-functional Magic Chef four-burner stove with an operational oven; a double sink with strainers and storage below; a working counter top and upper and lower storage
compartments.
The kitchen, dining and living room has wood laminate flooring. The living room has cable hook-up and a Sony Model CDX-CA-400 CD/radio system with Blaupunkt speakers.
It is also equipped with a WineGard RV roof-mounted TV antennae controlled from inside the trailer.
The air-conditioner is fully-functional (serviced 7/07) as is the Cata-Lytic Model 6-GV catalytic heater (propane) that replaced the forced-air furnace. It is rated at 6,000 BTU.
The converter and fuse panel have been replaced (10/07).
The trailer is equipped with a fresh water tank, a black water tank and an add-on grey water tank approximately 2' x 5' in size.
It also has an electric jack that allows leveling of the trailer with a flick of a switch.
The wheels are American Racing alloy rims with TransMaster Trailer Radial ST225 75R15
steel-belted radial tires with only 2,000 miles on them.
A new Progressive Dynmics Converter was installed 6/10.
A Solar System comprised of a Kyocera KD-135GX-LPU 135Watt solar panel with MC4 connectors, a Morningstar solar charge controller using MPPT technology and two (2) Sun-Xtender AGM batteries were installed 9/10.
The body is in reasonably good shape with two minor flaws. Both are in the right front and can be seen in the images. The higher one is more like an indentation and the lower one is in the lowest corner panel.
There some extras like kitchen "stuff" (dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc.), curtains, electric hook-ups, flexible grey water and waste hoses, and a spare tire.
Please email any questions you may have or to schedule an appointment to see it.
