Title: 1970 Airstream Tradewind 25 - Texas
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Solid start for an AMBITIOUS project. A few dents as pictured; missing a corner window and the heater access panel; but otherwise the exterior is in pretty good condition. No hail damage and should polish up just fine.
Interior will need to be totally gutted, a new floor installed, all systems gone through, etc. The tanks, bathroom fixtures, kitchen sink, kitchen counter top, stove and some cabinet frames could be re-used with some effort (mostly need a thorough cleaning). All the fabrics and cabinet doors are shot.
Have the original rims and baby moon hubcaps. Currently rolling on new trailer tires and newer generic trailer wheels. Bearings have been repacked. Installed temporary trailer lights. It does tow beautifully. I pulled it over 500 miles in a single day with a half ton truck without any issues.
No title. Recently went through the Texas process to obtain a bonded title for another old vehicle. I can walk you through the process which is not expensive nor overly time-consuming. Of course I will provide a bill of sale (as well as the bill of sale I obtained when I bought it).
Age old story of "too many projects." Given its condition and the lack of a title, I am open to reasonable cash offers.
