Title: 1968 Airstream
Ambassador 28 - Arkansas
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
Project Airstream. The entire interior has been removed, as well as 2 sections of flooring (backend where the bathroom was). Most of the interior was gone before I got the trailer. It had been used for storage by PO. A few of the windows must have broken at some point and were replaced by plexiglass or plastic. There is a dent and a slash in the panel directly behind the door, where I was told the door had swung open and punch a hole while on the freeway. Again, this was all before I got it. I do still have most of the interior wall pieces, the two floor pieces I removed (though they won't be good for much more than a pattern for new pieces), and the two fiberglass end caps, as well as the original control panel. There was an oven still in it, which I do have, but I cannot speak as to whether it is the original or not. The water heater is rusted out and I would not recommend using it. I bought this sweet old girl with the intention of fixing her up, but have not been able to find the time, and it seems wrong for her to just sit there. She needs a lot of love, but the stripping down has all been done for you! Except for the rest of the floor pieces, which may just need a few patches. Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like more pictures.
Update: i also have 6 pints of POR-15 with the two prep steps for the frame. unopened and included in sale.
