1967 Airstream Tradewind 24 - British Columbia

Title: 1967 Airstream Tradewind 24 - British Columbia
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

My wife and I decided to let go of our dream project. We bought the trailer this fall partially gutted and so far only finished the removal of the significantly altered interior and made it 'highway ready'.

We've replaced the old, cracked and leaky Reflect-O-Lites with Bargman No. 99 Lenses Including new backing plates. We also replaced the license plate light and break-away switch.

The underbelly is sound, although we never had a chance to fully remove it and inspect the frame. Judging by the state of the underside, no significant corrosion is expected.

The subfloor is in very good condition throughout with a small rotted area near the back.

The body is still covered with the original (?) coat. There's larger dent on one of the tail skin plates. A couple more are located on the roof at the front. Photos show the extents. No punctures.

One window has been replaced with plexi glass and has a crack in the corner.

Bathroom is missing the toilet and the tub, vanity is completely intact. Further shown on the photos.

The water heater (updated), the fridge (updated) and the stove (original) are included.

The electrical 12V has been partially tested with the interior lights working. The 120V system has been altered by previous owner by relocating the original univolt in the bathroom vanity (reasons unknown). The LPG and water systems haven't been tested. Original holding tank and water pump are included.

The tires are in good condition. The axle components have been maintained by the previous owner. Electric brakes work great.

As mentioned in the title, this is an unit for complete restoration.

We are located in northern BC and are willing to deliver the unit to the USA-CAN crossing in lower mainland.

Price in USD. For further questions or photo inquiries contact us on the attached email.

I should mention that there's an auction going for the unit on eBay at http://r.ebay.com/Y3VaK4
