17 - Arizona
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
from Arizona. Was in wonderfull condition when I bought it from an engineer in Az. We have checked and restored all the systems and both aesthetically and mechanically it is excellent. Looking at the walls and stove it appeared never to have been cooked in. The body was perfectly free from rust of water damage as we inspected the subfloor and frame. We have stripped? Hand sanded and restored all the cabinets with Tung oil and replaced the counters with seamless. Sustainable Sansung Staron countertops. The hot water heater and fridge are new as well and the heater and stove work perfectly. a new convertor with new wiring updates the electrical system. The plumbing was also redone and we've added a new deep round sink with faucet/sprayer in kitchen. The floors are green as well featuring a watertight floor called ozo loc from Formis. Led lighting over the sleeper sofa. Tires are new as well as propane tanks, regulator and gas lines. All windows have screens as well as the 2 skylights. One item left to do it replace some of the plexiglas windows. we have sourced and found company here to do it. It has been polished nicely and is beautifull in spite of a couple of creases you see only if you look for them. A new toilet has been added as well. Feel free to call if you have any questions or if you would like to see a video of me demonstrating the trailer.
I thought to sell my 2003 Tahoe as well if someone would like to fly here to phoenix and drive away with the airstream in tow. It is dealer maintained, has a tow package and also in perfect condition as we use it to camp often. Shiny red it is flawless aesthetically and mechanically despite its 174k miles and we would sell for $5500.
We will be in Tulum, Mexico June 8 - July 22.
Best to you, Doug
