Airstream Safari 22 - Colorado
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
I purchased my 1966
Airstream Safari in the spring of 2006. I spent the first summer cleaning the trailer and then replaced the following items:
New Water Heater
New curtains-palm tree motif
New slip covers on the sofa –palm tree motif
New Axle, brakes and hubs
Upgraded propane tanks and cover
New cranks on the windows that needed them
New tires. I also upgraded the tires to new Trailer tires in 2015 and they have baby moon hubcaps on them.
New Vista Dome over the dining room
New door handle and lock
Upgraded Running Lights
The trailer is a Safari Twin Land Yacht International Model, which was the top of the line for the year it was manufactured. The dining room configures into one large bed (retrofit) or two twin beds. The sofa folds down to a double bed.
The bathroom is usable and there have not been any leaks from the black tank.
Comes with Centramatics on the wheels and a Trailer Valet moving system.
