1965 Airstream Globetrotter 20 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
We are the 2nd owners of this rare
1965 Globetrotter Twin. The first owner kept it in a barn when it wasn’t in use, and we have also kept it in covered storage. After we bought it, we spent the first year doing restoration including the following new items:

• LED lighting through out, original sconces in dining area
• Beautiful Bamboo counter-tops and dinette table
• Bamboo vinyl plank flooring
• Dove grey custom cushion covers for Gaucho couch and dinette
• Walls and wood cabinets painted soft white
• Sailrite Roller Shades on all windows with straps to conform shades to wall curves
• Shelves installed in both closets
• Bathroom closet shelves and overhead kitchen cabinet shelves laminated with Formica
• Polished nickel door pulls on lower cabinets

This trailer is in excellent condition, and it is very easy to tow. We did not do a shell off type restoration – it wasn’t necessary. Anything that worked well was not replaced, and anything that was worn or not working was replaced. The dinette space can be used as short twin beds, or with the table dropped, it can be a queen sized bed. The Goucho couch makes into a double bed. Awning is in excellent condition, exterior aluminum is in very good condition. We love this trailer and it has been perfect for travel, but we have too many toys and too little time to use them.
