1964 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Indiana

Title: 1964 Airstream Tradewind 24 - Indiana
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

Perfect sized trailer that can sleep up to four people. Fully restored can go for $15,000-$25,000.
Most of all the hard work already completed. Traveling too much for work to complete.

Condition:
This trailer is 50 years old and needs complete restoration.

The trailer is towable; Trailer weight fully loaded is 3,480lbs, 24.8Lx9Hx8W

There is no electrical, so you will need a $15 tow light kit to transport.

The exterior shell is in good condition, and is partially buffed, no clear coat to strip.

Has two new tires and bearings were repacked last November.

One window next to doorway is missing, but all others are in good shape. One window louver is cracked and can easily be replaced.

The belly skin is 1/2 intact, but will need to be replaced.

Have old heater, electrical box, and interior lights, but planned on replacing.

The subfloor needs replacing as there are soft spots at each end of trailer.

Rooftop A/C-Heater was functional and disconnected for easy replacement.

Has rear bathroom placement.

Door-within-a-Door Entry. This feature was standard beginning sometime in the 1950s and was discontinued after the 1964 model year. With this feature, you have a single door that serves as the entry door and screen door. There is a hinged panel in the center of the door that hides the screen panel and is secured by lever locks on the inside of the door. It was removed for restoration and is included.

This trailer includes the following from the interior which is completely gutted;

• All Interior aluminum skins and interior fiberglass end cap skins.
• Clean and black water tanks.
• Stove and stove hood.
• Bathtub/shower shell.
• Kitchen sink.
• Gaucho couch frames. One for the front and one for the twin bed mid-trailer.
• Original woodwork if you want to haul it away.

This trailer is being sold "AS-IS" and “WHERE-IS” with NO guarantees or warrantees implied. Buyer is responsible for pickup. Trailer is located in Kingsbury, IN 46350.
You can contact us by filling in the form on the right hand column of the ad listing:
