1964 Airstream Globetrotter 19 - New Mexico

This adorable and restorable
1964 Globe Trotter 19 is one of only a few remaining early 1960s AIRSTREAMS under 20-feet that is still priced as a fixer-upper. This particular unit features the sought-after "door-within-a-door" entryway, a fiberglass tub/shower insert with an excellent, cream-colored finish, all original bath fixtures in great condition, and a sub-floor with none of the major issues found on similar vintage trailers.
The inside walls are in generally good condition and the three original double-cone lights, as well as the four original ceiling lights, are ALL there (and NOT on eBay!). The porcelain kitchen sink, faucet, and counter-top are all in above-average condition but the back splash area will need attention. Some lower cabinetry will need work in conjunction with the installation of a new refrigerator and gas range. Original upper cabinetry and tall closets are all in serviceable condition.
The rear bath window has a piece of polycarbonate temporarily in place but the original tilt frame and hinge are still intact and ready for your choice of glass or Lexan. The center tilt window on the left side has been replaced with a new "fixed" storm window. The front rock guard/awning is missing but the undamaged hinge and perfect tilt glass are there. All the other windows have good original glass. The front and rear windows are both missing one of two crank openers. The original 14x24 fixed, plastic skylight will have to be repaired or replaced and the original shower curtain and rod are missing.
The original bumper lid and service-area access door were replaced with sheet metal at some point in the past. Also, there are three "kisses" that can be popped out by a professional while making a new aluminum access door and lid. The rear bumper is perfect and the original landing gear operates smoothly in both directions. There is a nifty spare tire carrier on the tongue and I have prepped, sealed and painted the sub-floor in anticipation of your new floor covering. Included are the original factory wheel rims (though one of the "moon" hubcaps is missing) and all the original hardware to mount two small propane tanks. The original 9'long awning rail is there as well.
