1964 Airstream Bambi II 17 - Texas

Title: 1964 Airstream Bambi II 17 - Texas
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

1964 Airstream Bambi II. Professionally renovated.

This model was only made in 1964. It is 17′ long with a single axle. The original dry weight was 1950 pounds. It is slightly heavier now, but is easily towed with my SUV.

Sleeps 3 – gaucho couch is a double + dinette makes a single

Easy to boondock with as it has a generator

Renovation highlights:
- New sub-floor
- All new PEX plumbing
- Updated electrical with marine battery
- Honda EU2000I Super Quiet 2000 generator attached to
tongue via welded on LowPro LockDown Generator
Security System (generator never used)
- New Coleman Mach I Power Saver RV Roof AC with heat
strip – (11k Btu so it can start with generator)
- Girard tankless water heater
- Custom-built modern-style cabinetry with walnut
countertops
- Custom dinette table
- Shower tray under floor slats
- Thetford toilet
- New stainless steel
- Isotherm Marine Cruise 130 Elegance 4.6 cu ft fridge
4.6, DC 12/24, stainless steel
- Induction stove
- Original fresh and black water tanks, new gray water
tank (this model was not originally manufactured with
gray water)
- LED lighting
- New flooring and interior paint
- Exterior recently polished to a mirror finish – in
excellent condition

Selling for $43,000 AS IS. There are a few things that need to be fixed and price will go up to 45,000 once those are done. What needs fixing:
- The electric for the fridge needs troubleshooting. I
just installed it and it is not turning on. Likely a
blown fuse or something else minor.
- Propane line needs a cap. I previously had a Norcold
fridge installed that ran off of electrical and
propane. Propane line needs a cap now that the fridge
has been removed. The only thing that runs off of
propane is the water heater.
- Black tank needs a new handle to make dumping easier.
I have purchased but not installed.

Those are pretty minor things for a $2k discount and will certainly cost less than that if professional done. I don’t have time to do the work now, so have discounted accordingly.

Serious inquiries only – no broker/dealers.
