1964 Airstream Bambi II 17 - Florida

Title: 1964 Airstream Bambi II 17 - Florida
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.

We bought our Bambi II about five years ago. The interior had been completely removed when we purchased it. We removed the interior walls and replaced the original flooring with two layers of exterior plywood, overlay and engineered wood flooring. We had the trailer rewired, both the 12V and 110V systems, with all new electrical components (breaker boxes, inverters, etc.) Before putting the interior walls back in we put in new foil insulation. The trailer was replumbed with PEX and PVC and an On-Demand water heater. A full size foam mattress base and mattress was install across the back end of the trailer with storage under the bed. The two side ends of the foam mattress were trimmed to fit the curved wall corners in the back. A closet rod extends over the foot of the bed for clothes storage). There is a wall (with some recessed shelves on the bedroom side) seperating the sleeping area and the bathroom and kitchen areas. The bathroom has a toilet - shower “wet” bath (we never used the shower) and a tiled sink area with a stainless counter top and storage below. The kitchen counter has a stainless sink, a two burner gas counter top stove and room for a counter top steam convection toaster oven that we had (not included). There are upper and lower cabinets (adapted bathroom type to save on size with their depth). The dining / living area in the front has a swivel table that can be dropped down on the U shaped bench / storage areas underneath them to make into another bed with the bench cushions. NEW items installed include: A.C. w/ heat strip; electric Fantastic-Fan ceiling power vent; two burner stove top; under counter refrigerator and almost new (used but only used a couple times when we bought it the gas furnace (which me did put a new electronic mother board in). We had a new axle, wheels, and electric brakes installled. There is a metal storage rack on the back of the trailer. NOTE: There are several dents on the back right quarter of the trailer that is the reason why the 64 Airstream Bambi II is being sold for $16,000 FIRM. We are selling our Bambi because we are traveling full time and after 17 months on the road felt we needed to up-grade to a 25’ trailer. For the three seasons we used our Airstream we loved our Bambi,

We will be adding some pictures.
