1955 22' Flying Cloud Whale Tail-single axle
California Made: Whales Tails were a California anomaly. They began in the 1950s and went up to the early 1957's. Any whale's tail is a prized possession!
Everything in this trailer was either replaced, or refurbished.
*The overall length is 22′, body length is 19′ and the body weight is 2,870lbs
*Front curved wall has custom graffiti art mural done by a local Nashville artist, Angela Simeone
*Arteriors Home Antique brass Mercury Sconces-(classic, simple and modern)
*This airstream was taken down to the chassis, and built from the ground up.
*All rust grinded of of frame
*Prime and paint with rust free paint and primer
*New sub floor- one layer ¾ inch piece with moisture barrier and then top layer of ½ inch with moisture barrier
*Bottom ¾ inch piece of subfloor is fiberglassed for water proofing
*Welded new piece of angle iron to secure frame
*Outside of airstream has painted bumper and trailer hitch
*New jack
*Four leveling jacks
*New brake lights
*New running lights
*New four pronge plug for generators or hook up for power to trailer
*New four pronge power cord for generators
*New back windshield
*Inside has new junction box
*All new trailer wiring
*All new electrical wiring
*Wired for 5 plugs and one switch
*90 percent of the inside aluminum is replaced and brand new from Airparts, inc
*Old aluminum has old paint grinded off
*All inside has been sanded from 50-220 grit sandpaper
*Has three coats of oil base primer
*Has three coats of water base paint
*All paint and primer is highest grade
*All windows have been primed and painted black
*New built in cabinetry with drip from graffiti mural
*Solid white oak 3/4" chevron cut flooring from Artura Floors
*Stain style is cerused black stain with white oil based paint grains
*Finished with a high gloss poly

Reason for selling: Purchased from the airstreamguy.com to restore and remodel for a mobile business concept. Planned on opening up a lux home decor and gift storefront with design consulting. Had some life-altering changes and closing the business. We didn't add the trim (which you can see in pic) bc we didn't want to add incase someone's ideas of what they want (as far as cabinetry or finish out) might be different than our original design. Renderings and CAD (computer aided design) draft/renderings were created to finish out with cabinetry, island and cash wrap. Selling as-is, but willing to talk about minimal finish out installs (i.e. cabinetry, trim, shelving).
