Title: 1951 Airstream Cruisette 15 - California
I just posted a new ad on Airstream Classifieds.
This is a 1951 Airstream Cruisette (Serial #8018) -- one of only 76 Cruisettes, which were manufactured between 1951 and 1952. Cruisettes were the smallest production Airstreams produced. This one is very rare because it has most of its original furnishings. We are halfway through a restoration, and unfortunately have had to stop working on this due to other obligations. Additionally, we have hundreds of pictures that we took throughout the process to help guide the next owner through an understanding of how things go back together (although with Cruisettes, it's pretty straightforward given the small number of total pieces). We have saved all the original pieces.
The trailer is currently stored in a warehouse in Vallejo. I could show the Airstream on weekends. Potential buyers could take over my warehouse storage space lease (~$170/month), which is a great place to work on the Airstream, or tow it away. We also have a bunch of Airstream-specific restoration tools that will be included with the sale (buffing pads, etc).
